Welcome to Tartan Youth Lacrosse!

Tartan Youth Lacrosse is a member of the Capital District Youth Lacrosse League and U.S. Lacrosse.

Teams will play games at various sites around the capital region.

The main season is from April to the middle of June. We also participate in summer, fall and winter programs for boys and girls who with to stay active with lacrosse all year long.

K-2: . This is a low-contact beginning program which teaches fundamental stick skills and basics of the game. We participate in local games.

3-4: Beginning full equipment Lacrosse. At this level, stick checking is permitted but little body contact. Players will learn basic skills of the game as well as offense and defense. 7 on 7 games on a reduced field.

5-6: Continuation of skills instruction at this level. Full equipment, full field, 10 on 10 games with limited contact.
